Many clients find themselves dealing with CRA’s collections department, especially in this harsh economic climate.   Our speaker, John Weir, a former CRA Collections Enforcement Officer, now assists taxpayers caught in the crosshairs of CRA.  He will speak to our group on CRA collections strategies, the legal actions sequence, the seizure of taxpayer assets, and various other aspects of the collections process.  The topic will provide attendees with a unique perspective, and will help members assist clients who find themselves in arrears with CRA.

John is a former CRA Collections Enforcement Officer, who left the Agency in May of 2016. He has worked in Operations with IBM Canada as a Western Regional Manager and also was the Financial Controller at Ikea Edmonton.
