HIGH-LEVEL REQUIREMENTS OF CSRS 4200 - COMPILATION ENGAGEMENTS

Jennifer is the Founder and CEO of Tilaus Inc., a cloud-based software providing an efficient option to Firm’s and their staff performing compilation engagements. She also works directly with accounting firms providing assistance to striving to perform high-quality engagements by developing and monitoring the Firm’s quality assurance manual, streamlining assurance templates and advising on complex accounting and financial reporting matters.

Jennifer is the author of CPA Canada’s publications the Quality Assurance Manual (QAM) and past co-author of the Professional Engagement Guide (PEG) and the compilation engagement material in the Professional Advisory, Compilations and Tax (PACT) publication. She has participated in various CPA Canada assurance-based task forces including the Compilation Engagement Implementation Task Force.

Jennifer has previously held senior roles at national accounting firms where she consulted with partners and staff on various accounting and assurance matters, performed quality reviews, and delivered partner and staff training. In addition to managing client engagements, she developed audit templates, programmed audit automation software, led the staff training initiatives, and performed quality control procedures.

Jennifer is currently serving as a member of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) Data Analytics Project Advisory Panel and is also an active program instructor for the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario and the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta.
